I feel as though I’ve traversed it for centuries

Yet only just beginning

A fresh sense of newness claims me

The calm water quiets my stirring mind... my beating heart

As I float...

Seamlessly between air and water, time and space

No breeze

The sun as my guide

I allow my thoughts to empty

Breaking the stillness of the innate silence

I breathe in the cadence of the cicadas

Exhaling, I melt into surrender
